Iris asked if we should meet more frequently.  The caucus agreed to meet every week until the legislative session terminates.  The next meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at The Bayou 645 S. State St, Salt Lake City.

   
Ellen suggested we put together a google list to mass email other member of the the caucus when an issue demands our immediate attention.  This would failitate a ground swell of action to reach the legislature.  The caucus agreed it would be a good idea and Iris asked Simon to compile a list that included the names she had.  We also agreed to have two lists one for the caucus committee and one that we can use to address the entire caucus so that only pertinent information is given out to caucus members and we don’t flood member’s inboxes.

Iris then suggested we generate a weekly newsletter that can go out to the entire caucus to keep everyone informed of the current issues and the progress of current bills with which we are concerned.

Iris then suggested we divvy up the current healthcare bills and bring a synopsis of each to the next caucus meeting. The bills were appropriated as follows:
